Primary Asset hands over in Nottingham

Specialist healthcare developer completes £2.5m Wollaton Park Medical Centre.

Primary Asset, a leading developer of innovative and purpose designed primary care premises throughout the UK, handed over its first property in the Nottingham area. Primary Asset provides modern facilities and cost effective solutions that meet both current and future healthcare needs.

The £2.5m Wollaton Park Medical Centre will serve over 5,500 patients around the Wollaton, Aspley and Jubilee Campus areas of Nottingham.  This purpose-built 975 sq m (10,495 sq ft) medical facility incorporates an on-site pharmacy, minor operations suite as well as rooms for counselling, physiotherapy and baby care.

Primary Asset, originally Primary Asset Management Limited, was bought by MedicX Properties in May 2006 and has offices in Godalming, Warrington, Edinburgh and Nottingham. The MedicX Fund has a committed investment of £150m, covering 44 medical centres throughout the UK.

Mike Adams, Managing Director, Primary Asset, comments:

"We are delighted to be handing over this scheme, which we hope will deliver the level of healthcare that only a properly designed, modern, integrated and innovative medical centre can provide.  Primary Asset is dedicated to providing premises which offer the best possible solution for meeting the needs of doctors, patients and the NHS."

Primary Asset has developed 14 medical centres in The Midlands alone, with new premises in Northamptonshire, Lincolnshire and Wolverhampton due to be handed over within the next 12 months.
